Sintered mesh metal filter cloth is a porous metal plate made of multi-layer stainless steel wire mesh, which is sintered into a metal panel. It usually consists of 5 layers (or 6-8 layers) of network: protection network layer, filter network layer, protective network layer, reinforcement network layer, and reinforcement network layer. The sintered filter element has high mechanical strength and a wide range of filtration grades. It is a new type of fine filtration material in the fields of food, beverage, water treatment, dust removal, pharmaceuticals, polymer industry and other fields.
Sintered mesh materials are commonly made of stainless steel 304, SS316, SS316L, but alloy steel, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel and other metal or alloy materials can also be used according to customer filtration process requirements. Sintered stainless steel filters are the most widely used type of all materials due to their excellent chemical stability and long service life.
Plain sintered square mesh woven mesh has good penetration characteristics and low flow resistance. It can be designed with any number and combination of square plain weave mesh layers to achieve specific flow and filtration characteristics. Its filtration precision ranges from 1 um to 200 um, and the maximum filter plate size can reach 1200 × 1500 mm.
Dutch weave sintered mesh has uniform openings and stable air permeability flow, and has great mechanical strength. It is often used in powder conveying, laboratory fluidized beds, dryers, coolers and other dry solid materials.
Perforated sintered mesh has perforated metal as a reinforcing layer supporting the sintered filter structure. Therefore, it has very high compressive and mechanical strength. Perforated metal sintered filters are widely used in oil wells where fine particles need to be filtered under extremely high pressure conditions.
