Wedge or Johnson Wire Filter Screens

    Wedge wire filter is also known as wedge wire screen, wedge wire filter element and Johnson wedge wire screen. It is a new product for flow distribution and carbon retention waste, water filtration and purification. Wedge wire filter combine with two major parts: V-shape profile wire and reinforcement robs. Each intersection of these wires is welded to form a strong structure and good mechanical properties. The profile wires and support bars can be axial or radial. It mainly includes internal filtering and external filtering. Depending on the different application, we can design the wedge wire filter with various shapes to meet the application needs. In addition, we can customize wedge wire filter products, such as filter tubes and filter baskets, according to customer requirements.

    The material of wedge wire filter are galvanized steel wire, low carbon and high carbon steel wire and stainless steel wire. The main stainless steel wire are SS 304, 316 and 316L. As for the wedge wire, support wire, slot opening, round wire diameter, outside diameter and length, we all have standard specification. The largest length of our wedge wire filter is 6 meters. In additional, we can produce the special specification based on customers request.

    Wedge wire filter is widely used for deep well pump, dive water pump, waste water treatment, water softening treatment, oil industry, food process, mineral process, and chemical and alkali filtration.
