Sintered wire mesh filter cloth is a porous metal plate made of multi-layer stainless steel wire mesh, which is sintered into a metal plate. It usually consists of 5 layers (or 6-8 layers) of nets: protection net layer, filter net layer, protection net layer, enhanced net layer, enhanced net layer. The sintered filter has high mechanical strength and a wide range of filtration grades. It is a new type of fine filter material used in food, beverage, water treatment, dust removal, pharmaceutical, and polymer industries.
The material of the sintered wire mesh is generally stainless steel 304, SS316, SS316L, alloy steel Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel and other metal or alloy materials can also be provided according to the customer's filtration process requirements. Sintered stainless steel filters are the most widely used of all materials due to their excellent chemical stability and long service life.
Plain weave sintered square weave wire mesh has good permeability characteristics and low flow resistance. It can be designed with any number and combination of square plain weave wire mesh layers to achieve specific flow and filtration characteristics. Its filter ratings range from 1 um to 200 um, with maximum plate sizes up to 1200 x 1500 mm.
The woven sintered mesh panel has uniformly distributed openings and stable air permeability, and has very large mechanical strength. It is often used in powder transportation, laboratory fluidized beds, dryers, coolers and other dry solid materials.
Perforated sintered mesh has perforated metal as reinforcement layer to support sintered filter structure. Therefore, it has very high compressive strength and mechanical strength. Perforated metal sintered filters are well used in oil wells where filtration of fine particles is required under extremely high pressure conditions.
